I was in the studio to do some portraits of my girlfriend over the bank holiday for her website. If you didn't already know, my girlfriend (or as she normally likes to be called, Debbie) makes and sellings little and sometimes not so little soft toy animals. From bunnies to ponies, and sometimes even Pokemon as well, each creature is hand crafted by her, from cutting out the fabric to putting in the last little bits of stuffing before it's shipped they're shipped off to their new homes. Whenever I new piece of gear, or I have a new technique I want to try out I'm glad I always have willing victims to take part! Having an older sister with children is great: I get to try out new techniques and new bits of gear I get my hands on, and she gets free photography of her kids. I borrowed a lovely lens off of one of my friends and fellow photographer for a wedding I am shooting tomorrow, the lens is a Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8.
